Recycling Facility
Our 21, 600 ft2 recycling facility located in Edmonton, Alberta is comprised of two buildings.
The processing building, constructed in 1998, contains specialized machinery designed for waste recovery and recycling. The second building, completed in the spring of 2003, is our receiving and storage facility with three separate storage areas that can store a combined maximum of 299,040 L of waste.
Our facility incorporates several environmental protection features:
- Clay and synthetic liners underneath the buildings
- Secured access
- Thermal oxidizer for gaseous emission destruction
- Groundwater monitoring wells
- Spill containment in all waste storage areas
